To receive a continuation award through the TEXAS Grant program, a student must:
have previously received an initial award through this program
show financial need
be enrolled at least three-quarter time
have not been granted a baccalaureate degree
be making satisfactory academic progress towards an undergraduate degree, and
have not been convicted of a felony or criminal involving a controlled substance
NOTE: Submitting the transfer request and meeting all eligibility requirements is not a guarantee that you will receive a “continuation award through the TEXAS Grant program” at our institution. Funding is limited and receiving an award is contingent on funding availability.
